Finance Manager

Position summary
The Finance manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of the organization by managing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Cash-Flow management systems
• Provide BODs with detailed, appropriate and effective management accounting reports.
• Effective cash-flow management in short-term working capital and long-term cash planning and reliable forecasting, along with effective treasury management.
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Provide finance reports on time and accurately.
• Produce requested project finance models on time and efficiently.
• Prepare and share finance, taxation and economics knowledge and updates for reference.
• Lead the budgeting process: preparation & monitoring. Compare forecast vs actual & provide in-dept analysis.
Taxation and Accounting
• Establish and maintain a fit-for-purpose internal control system and ensure its’ operating effectiveness.
• Supervise and review the performance of the team and provide guidance and training where necessary.
• Keep abreast of the development of relevant laws, regulations and policies.
Oversee Establishment of Project Companies
• Review, revise and implement existing ACC policies and procedures for relevance in Vietnam, ensuring compliance with local regulations, financing norms and business needs.
• Maintain relationships with onshore and offshore credit providers specialized in renewable energy and EMC loans.
• Work with local banks to fund ACC’s projects.
• Ensure the financial status of project companies.
• Work with legal counsel to develop ideal structures for bringing offshore funds to Vietnam, effectively structuring business and VAT tax payments, and repatriation of funds upon liquidity event.
Develop and Lead the Finance Department
• To employ, train and manage a Finance Team to support the Company’s evolving needs that have the necessary competencies, positive attitude, and professionalism and consistently deliver performance that meets or exceeds targets.
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience for entry-level positions (Experience in working for startup is a plus).
• Comfort multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments.
• Excellent Excel skill with complicated formula combinations.
• Familiar with Power BI or other data analytics tool.
• Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner.
• Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
• Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Focus on details, accuracy.
• Conversant in English (verbal/written).
