Beijing, PRC—December 24, 2020—Asia Clean Capital (“ACC”) is pleased to announce that it has received two ISO certifications: Environmental Management System (EMS) standard ISO 14001: 2015 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS) ISO 45001: 2018. ACC’s two management systems were audited and certification granted by DNV GL, an international testing, inspection and certification organization.
The ISO 14001 standard sets out the requirements for an environmental management system and helps companies monitor environmental impacts, enhance environmental performance and achieve environmental objectives. The ISO 45001 standard enables organizations to put in place an effective OH&SMS and help them manage their OH&S risks and provide safe and healthy workplaces. The certification process at ACC involved analyzing internal policies against the ISO standard, identifying the gaps between current procedures and the ISO requirements, and implementing specific actions to close the gaps.
Receiving the two certificates demonstrates ACC’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest international standards of environmental, health and safety management. Thomas Lapham, CEO of ACC, said “Being ISO certified is an honor that showcases ACC’s dedication towards improving our operations, while continuously improving safety and health of our employees.”
