Dong Nai, May 19th, ACCV (Asia Clean Capital Vietnam) and TERUMO BCT (TERUMO) held a commencement ceremony to launch a 2.012 MWp rooftop solar PV project at TERUMO’s facility located in Long Duc Industrial Park (Dong Nai province). With 3,326 modules installed, the system will generate 2,918 MWh and avoid 2,372 tons of CO2 annually helping TERUMO BCT Vietnam offset 12% of its current annual power demand.
According to the power purchase agreement, ACCV will develop, finance, operate and maintain the system for the next 20 years. The solar self-consumption installation will provide TERUMO renewable and clean electricity for its production activities and effectively reduce its carbon emissions. This initiative aligns with TERUMO Group’s target to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 and the recent approval of the Power Development Plan 8, which aims to encourage more businesses to use solar energy systems.
