Senior Finance Analyst

Position summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with management to gather and analyze financial information, preparing financial plans and developing financial models, evaluating cost structures and revenue streams. In addition, this role will be researching and analyzing business trends and preparing financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the focal point for advice and technical expertise in financial management, including the
development of policies and procedures.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices. Ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, including coordinating audits and acting as primary contact for auditors and advisors.
• Develop financial models, establish key performance indicators and monitor ongoing performance and taking legal limitations into consideration.
• Create reports and variance analyses. Identify investment opportunities.
• Continuously improving financial processes and identifying and enhancing efficiencies in processes.
• Develop policies, standards, and guidelines in respect of accounting procedures concepts and Provide leadership and management to the business unit, within the scope of the position’s responsibilities.
• Create forecast models based on current and past financial results.
• Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray our group positively.
• Maintain key relationships with banks, auditors and other third parties.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience for entry-level positions (Experience in working for startup is a plus).
• Comfort multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments.
• Excellent Excel skill with complicated formula combinations.
• Familiar with Power BI or other data analytics tool.
• Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner.
• Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
• Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Focus on details, accuracy.
• Conversant in English (verbal/written).
