Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam —November 23rd, 2021— Asia Clean Capital Vietnam (“ACCV”) has successfully inked an onsite rooftop solar project under a 20-year power purchase agreement for Schindler’s production unit in Vietnam. The system is expected to help Schindler meet its sustainability objectives by notably reducing 5,869 tons of carbon emission, saving 4,187 litters of water, equivalent carbon offset of 258,584 trees, and saving 2096 tons of coal throughout the project lifespan.
The solar system is expected to be completed and fully operational in January 2022.
