Focused on rooftop solar projects, ACCV invests 100 percent of the project costs and provides the design, engineering, equipment, government approvals, installation, and long-term maintenance of solar systems. All electricity produced is provided to clients at below- grid prices under long-term agreements, so clients enjoy immediate savings with zero CAPEX investments. ACC’s project sites are typically extensive production facilities with electric demand from one to twenty megawatts.
A Procurement Manager is responsible for finding goods for the company at the best value regarding quality and price, manage the quality and the price of the products/goods mostly related to solar system including onshore and offshore material, assisting importing and exporting activities of the company, working directly with the EPC to ensure the price and the quality of the products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify suppliers of goods and services.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods.
- Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders.
- Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.
- Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
- Attend meetings with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company.
- Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements.
- Research: Procurement managers evaluate and compare products and services to determine which best meet the organization’s needs.
- Cost analysis: Obtaining goods at the right cost can determine whether the company achieves profitability. Cost is also a factor when setting prices for the company’s products or services which must be in line with what the market will support.
- Inventory control: Often, the procurement specialist oversees the inventory of raw materials or other goods and places orders when supplies run low.
- Negotiating contracts: Negotiation is a major share of the procurement specialist’s After securing the best pricing, terms and delivery options for each product or service, they settle the contract.
- Projecting future needs: Not only do procurement specialists manage current needs, they strategize with various departments and suppliers to ensure the organization’s future needs will be seamlessly met.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business Administration.
- 4 years of working experience (especially in the field of renewable energy and rooftop solar power).
- Business knowledge of capital products, liquidity management, risk management…
- Management, business and planning skills.
- Negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (level B or equivalent) especially is excel.
- Focus on details, accuracy.
